A Château Lynch-Bages vertical tasting at Compline Wine Shop

Compline hosts a vertical tasting of LynchBages wines from 2015 to 2000 (plus a white to start) on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Château Lynch-Bages of Pauillac received a fifth-growth designation in 1855, but it’s on everyone’s shortlist of top Left Bank properties today. The château earned a second-growth spot in Livex’s 2009 reimagining of the famous 1855 classification, and this year Lynch-Bages grand vins scored the #3 spot on Wine Spectator’s Top 100. Kinou Cazes-Hachemian represents the third generation of the Cazes family, owners of Château Lynch-Bages since 1939. She will lead a vertical flight of her family’s wines. The price is $125. Compline Wine Shop, 1300 First St., #319, Napa, complinewine.com
