2019 vintage Brunello tasting

Compline Wine Shop hosts a tasting of 2019 Brunello di Montalcino, which was just released. Eric Guido of Vinous Media describes the 2019s as “an embarrassment of riches.”   With the help of Skurnik Wines, Compline showcases six examples of 2019 Brunello di Montalcino in a casual tasting at the shop on Thursday, Sept. 12, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. They will pour Casanuova delle Cerbaie, Ciacci Piccolomini, Ciacci Piccolomini “Pianrosso,” La Serena, Scopetone and Uccelliera.
