What’s New in the City of Napa Fall 2025 

New Events, Menu Updates, Lodging Deals and More. 

NAPA, Calif., Sept. 9, 2025 – This autumn, enjoy the City of Napa’s picturesque views and vibrant fall foliage with exciting menu updates, unique wine offerings for Cabernet Season, new businesses to explore and a wide selection of outdoor entertainment. Here’s what’s new in Napa this fall.   

Lodging News & Deals:  

  • At The Meritage Resort and Spa, guests who book a stay of two nights or more can enjoy 20% off luxury accommodations, receive $100 resort credit and complimentary pours at their four on-site wine tasting rooms. 

Community Events & Entertainment:  

  • CIA at Copia will host a Flavors of Film: Family Series, where every third Sunday of the month starting Aug. 17 and ending Dec. 21 there will be a new family-friendly event packed with hands-on food-centric activities, interactive scavenger adventures and a movie screening the whole family will love. 
  • Napa’s OPEN STUDIOS 2025, a self-guided art discovery tour through the creative art spaces of Napa, will be held on Sept. 20, 21, 27 and 28 with artist locations open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Guests can view the artwork of local artists, see artist’s studios, watch demonstrations, discuss how the artwork is created directly with the artists and purchase any art for sale. 
  • The Palm Tree Music Festival is coming to The Meritage on Oct. 11. This event will offer intimate performances by Kygo, The Chainsmokers, Odd Mob and more. Tickets can be purchased now at Ticketmaster.com. 
  • This fall, Napa guests can step into a world of intrigue with the Napa Valley Wine Train’s Murder Mystery Dinner series where guests enjoy a multi-course gourmet meal and fine local wines as a thrilling “whodunit” unfolds throughout its vintage Pullman railcars. While there’s no formal dress code, guests are encouraged to dress according to the night’s theme, including “Death of a Gangster,” “Midnight at the Masquerade” or “The Best Laid Plans.”  
  • For a limited time this fall, Napa Valley Gondola welcomes expert Venetian gondolier Angelino Sandry for autumnal cruises. From late August through mid-October, Sandry will delight guests with his quick wit, talented singing, and expert handling of the gondola.  He has decades of experience guiding gondolas in the famous canals of Venice as well as hours on the Napa River. Cruises with Sandry start at $250 for up to six people. 

Harvest Season:  

  • Napa Valley Bistro will feature their House Cabernet Sauvignon, Secundino, which is made from Atlas Peak grapes as a tribute to the Chef and Owners’ Latino roots. Secundino is exclusively made for the Napa Valley Bistro and is not available anywhere else.  
  • Throughout the harvest season, Ackerman Family Vineyards will highlight their highly rated Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon, which has continued to receive high scores among popular reviewers such as International Wine Report and Decanter, as well as release their 2022 vintage this fall.  
  • The Napa Valley Wine Train is reviving their iconic Grape Stomp experience in collaboration with Grgich Hills Estate. Guests will begin their journey in the City of Napa aboard beautifully restored Pullman railcars and enjoy appetizers and entrées as they travel through wine country.  
  • With over 20 luxury wineries housed in their tasting room, Vintner’s Collective has the widest variety of Cabernet Sauvignon tasting available in Napa. Their harvest offerings will introduce an abundance of new wines from the group of talented winemakers and several events throughout the fall. 

New Food & Drink: 

  • Back Room Wines is relocating to 1546 First St. in the West End of Napa, now with double the space, a dedicated wine bar and hundreds of new wines to explore. 
  • ALBA Bar & Café located at River Terrace Inn now serves an updated evening menu from Tuesday to Saturday, 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A simplified Empanada menu is also available Sunday and Monday, 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with the bar open daily from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. 

New Happy Hours & Menu Updates:  

  • Kitchen Door now serves weekend brunch from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. They will serve lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m.to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Dinner hours are Sunday to Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The bar is open daily with happy hour Monday to Friday from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. 
  • Whiskey Bar has been renamed to Corner Bar, and will no longer specialize in whiskey. Instead, the cozy alfresco corner space of the Archer Hotel Napa will expand their drink offerings.  
  • Winston’s Wok is back with fresh, Chinese-American food every Friday and Saturday night from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Alex and Cassan Macaraig started the Wok to cook the food they love to eat — Chinese-inspired dishes made from scratch with the same fresh ingredients that they use every day at Winston’s Cafe and Bakery. 
  • Gentleman Farmer Wines added walk-in sales of wine by the glass (or bottle) at their Gentleman Farmer Bungalow in Napa. After previously serving only breakfast, lunch and dinner with pairings by appointment, guests can now make walk-in reservations for tastings. The wines start at $18 for 2022 Napa Valley Rosé.  
  • The Napa Valley Bistro has complimentary corkage on Tuesday, Wednesday there is a Senior Discount, and Happy Hour all day and night on Thursday. Beginning Sept. 23 and running to Oct. 4, they will celebrate Oktoberfest, introducing German specials such as Sauerbraten, Schnitzel and Goulashsoep, all of which will be served and paired with a traditional Oktoberfest Lagger from Tannery Bend Beerworks.
