Downtown Napa Becomes a Hollywood Hotspot for Panels, Screenings, and More

NAPA, Calif., March 28, 2025Downtown Napa is rolling out the red carpet as the inaugural Napa Valley StreamFest, taking place April 24 to 27, brings the glamour of Hollywood back to the heart of the City of Napa. The team today announced its stellar lineup of actors, influencers, podcasters and more, who will be captivating the festival stages. Napa Valley StreamFest will transform Downtown Napa into a dynamic stage for panels, screenings, and discussions, all celebrating the art of streaming.

We’ve curated a lineup that reflects the diverse and dynamic nature of the streaming world, and we’re excited to see the energy it brings to the community.”

Napa Valley StreamFest will welcome major media partner and esteemed voice in entertainment journalism, The Hollywood Reporter. As a key sponsor, The Hollywood Reporter underscores the festival’s significance in the streaming landscape. Scott Feinberg, host of the renowned “Awards Chatter” podcast, will be on-site, bringing his insightful expert analysis to the festival. Attendees can expect to witness a special live podcast recording as Feinberg sits down with Jason Segel, the acclaimed actor, writer, and producer. Jason Segel will be honored with the Napa Valley StreamFest’s TV Performance of the Year Award on April 26 at 3:30 PM at Uptown Theatre in recognition of his Emmy-nominated performance opposite Harrison Ford on Apple TV+’s hit dramedy “Shrinking.”

Adding to the excitement, Meredith Hagner will also be honored at this year’s festival. Known for her diverse and captivating roles, most recently in the film “You’re Cordially Invited,” alongside Reese Witherspoon, as well as standout performances in “Bad Monkey,” “Search Party,” and numerous other acclaimed projects, Hagner brings a wealth of talent and charisma. She will be honored with the StreamFest Spotlight Tribute Award at the festival, celebrating and highlighting her incredible acting career.

StreamFest will present Diane Warren  (Songwriter)  with the StreamFest Visionary Tribute Award. Diane is notably one of the best songwriters of our time. She is a 16-time Oscar nominee and has received an Honorary Academy Award, Grammy Award, Emmy Award, two Golden Globe Awards, and three consecutive Billboard Music Awards for Songwriter of the Year. Her documentary, Diane Warren: Relentless, will play on Saturday evening.

The Breakthrough Artist Awards & Panel will spotlight incredible artists having a moment this year, including Katie Cassidy (Arrow), Megan Scott (Penelope), Raven Goodwin (Abbott Elementary), Joy Sunday (Wednesday), and Sagaar Shaikh (Deli Boys). Moderated by Rochelle Rose, the panel will occur on Sunday, April 27, at Signorello Estate.

Former NBA star and entrepreneur Baron Davis and NFL legend R.K. Russell add a dynamic perspective to the festival lineup. Davis and Russell are slated to join a compelling panel titled ‘Pass the Mic,’ a dynamic conversation featuring former athletes who have transitioned into entertainment, entrepreneurship, and life beyond the game, for the opening night of the festival. Athlete, Content Creator, and TikTok interviewer Tyler Bergantino will moderate the panel.

Napa Valley StreamFest will proudly host the feature film screening and West Coast premiere of The Baltimorons,” a Duplass Brothers Production directed and cowritten by Jay Duplass, fresh from its premiere at South By Southwest and winner of the 2025 Audience Award. This film promises to be a standout feature. Adding to the excitement, Jay Duplass and Michael Strassner, the film’s co-writer and star, will be in attendance for the screening and a live Q&A session moderated by Sam Jones. Along with panel moderation, Jones will also bring his distinctive storytelling talent to the festival, where he will world premiere the pilot episode of his new show, “The Talent Show.”

The Duplass presence extends beyond the screen, with Mel Eslyn, director and president of Duplass Brothers Productions, set to participate in a special Sunday panel alongside Amey René, casting director, and others. This panel will celebrate female powerhouses in entertainment, highlighting the influential roles women play in shaping the industry. Kelly Rizzo will moderate the panel. The panel holds significance as Napa Valley StreamFest itself is female-founded, making it a powerful testament of the festival’s dedication to amplifying female voices and celebrating their crucial contributions to the entertainment landscape.

Prepare for a captivating exploration into the realm of human psychology with the ‘Was I in a Cult?’ Podcast. Hosts Tyler Measom and Liz Iacuzzi will delve into the complex and often unsettling world of cults, offering insightful discussions on the psychological dynamics at play, the powerful stories of former members, and the broader societal implications of these groups. Their presence promises to spark thought-provoking conversations and shed light on a topic that continues to fascinate and disturb.

The Napa Valley StreamFest is also set to amplify its entertainment offerings with a dynamic lineup of influencers and creators, including Leah Knauer, Adam Rose, Corey O’Brien, and Heather Shaw. Beyond their digital presence, these creators will take to the stage for live stand-up comedy performances, bringing a fresh and engaging comedic perspective to the festival. Expect lots of laughter and unexpected wit as they showcase their talents in a live, interactive setting, adding a unique and vibrant dimension to the StreamFest experience.

Beyond film, podcasts, and comedy, festival-goers can experience the transformative power of acroyoga. Napa Valley StreamFest will feature an exclusive preview of “Touching the Sky,” a documentary following a blind acroyoga practitioner’s inspiring journey. Attendees can also witness live acro demonstrations and participate in interactive sessions, exploring the trust and connection at the heart of this practice.
