Napa County Historical Society Summer Tours
The Napa County Historical Society (NCHS) has announced the 2026 Walking Tour Schedule for historic Downtown Napa and Tulocay Cemetery.
The Historic Tulocay Cemetery Tours occur on Friday, June 5th, starting at 3:00pm, and Saturday, August 8th starting at 10:30am. These 90-minute walking tours begin at the cemetery’s Juarez Building (the old office just inside the gate at Tulocay Drive) and loop through some of the oldest sections of the cemetery. Along the way, guests will hear the stories of individuals who helped shape Napa’s history. Tours are led by knowledgeable docents, and complimentary maps and whisper headsets are provided so participants can hear every word clearly. Please note that the ground is uneven in some areas, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
The Historic Downtown Napa Tours occur on Saturday, June 27th, starting at 10:30am, and Friday, August 28th starting at 3:00pm. These 90-minute walking tours begin at the historic Goodman Library, located at 1219 1st St. in downtown Napa and highlight over fifteen local landmarks along First Street, Main Street, and Third Street. The route includes portions of the River Walk and loops through some of the most legendary businesses and buildings in historic downtown. Along the way, guests will discover the colorful people and places that shaped Napa’s past. Tours are led by knowledgeable docents, and complimentary maps and headsets are provided so participants can hear every word clearly.
Tickets for the Historic Downtown Napa and Tulocay Cemetery Tours are limited and cost $45/pp, or $30/pp for Napa County Historical Society Members. To purchase tickets, please visit https://napahistory.org/events.
