Cuban pianist and local singers at Blue Note

Blue Note will host a performance pairing internationally acclaimed Cuban pianist Jorge Luis Pacheco with Amplifi Emerging Artists Andrea Barrera and Jocelyn Paniagua on Tuesday, Sept. 23, at 6:30 p.m. This marks the first Amplifi Stage at the BlueNote, a mainstage opportunity to open for an internationally award-winning act.  Pacheco has shared the stage with jazz legends like Wynton Marsalis and Chucho Valdés, dazzling audiences worldwide with his electrifying blend of Cuban roots, jazz and classical Andrea Barrera, a singer-songwriter whose sound fuses Latin rhythms with alternative rock, just released her debut EP Capitulo No 1 with the help of an Amplifi grant.  Joining Barrera on stage will be Jocelyn Paniagua, a fellow Amplifi vocalist with an Adele-meets-Broadway style.  Get tickets here.
