10cc at the Uptown

JaM Cellars presents 10cc at the Uptown Theatre on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 8 p.m. 10cc has sold more than 30 million albums around the world.  “I’m Not In Love,” written by Graham Gouldman and Eric Stewart, was featured in the soundtrack to the 2014 film, Guardians of the Galaxy. Their “Dreadlock Holiday,” from the soundtrack to 2010’s The Social Network, about the creation of Facebook, became the Sky Sports cricket theme in Australia. Founding member Gouldman said the songs “don’t seem to date; they are original, we never followed any trend we simple wrote for our own pleasure.
