Lydia Pense & Cold Blood Live in the Yard

Feast It Forward Live in the Yard presents Lydia Pense and Cold Blood on Friday, Aug. 15, at 6 p.m. Lydia Pense & Cold Blood debuted when the Fillmore was at its peak in San Francisco. Owner Bill Graham was so impressed, he signed Cold Blood for his new record label.  With six original late-’60s, early-’70s albums, Lydia Pense and Cold Blood helped forge a brand of funk/soul and R&B that came to be known as East Bay Grease.
