Juneteenth Celebration
Juneteenth celebrates the day (June 19, 1865) when some of the last slaves in Texas were notified of their manumission. Now it’s become a celebration of Black history, culture and contributions Napa Juneteenth Freedom Day The 2025 Napa Juneteenth celebration takes place on Thursday, June 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Veterans Park in downtown Napa. Join the fun and learn about the importance of Juneteenth, celebrate freedom and resilience and support black-owned businesses. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic-style dinner to enjoy with music by DJ Tony Sparks. Nonfood vendors will be present, as well as special guest performances and activities for all ages.
