Festival Napa Valley Music & Wellness Symposium
Festival Napa Valley presents a Music & Wellness Symposium with Daniel J. Levitin, Ph.D. on Sunday, July 6 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the CIA at Copia. The gathering focused on arts and wellness brings together neuroscientists, music therapists and musicians to explore music’s role in brain health, senior wellness and youth mental health. Dr. Daniel J. Levitin, internationally acclaimed neuroscientist, cognitive psychologist, musician and New York Times bestselling author will deliver the keynote address. The day begins with a Festival Live! concert followed by panel discussions and interactive presentations. These will range from a workshop on music and movement for stress reduction to a presentation on music therapy best practices.
