While you’re here for BottleRock, why not stay an extra day or two and explore all the city has to offer? There’s plenty more to do and see in the heart of Napa, from leisure activities to adventure to, of course, food and wine. The event falls on Memorial Day Weekend, giving you the perfect excuse for an extended wine country getaway.
Enjoy Napa’s Wide Open Spaces
After an amazing (but loud!) weekend of concert-going and crowds, many visitors will embrace the opportunity for some open space and fresh air.
The beautiful blue skies and warm sunshine of late May will be ideal for a day of outdoor adventure. Explore beyond the wine to experience unique Napa adventures, from kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding on the Napa River to taking a bike ride along one of Napa’s scenic bike trails.
While the great outdoors isn’t typically what people think of when visiting Napa, you’ll be glad to discover this side of wine country. Remember to splurge on a delicious meal at a local restaurant after all that exercise!
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Planning to make a girls’ weekend out of BottleRock? Keep the fun going with a few of our favorite girlfriends’ getaway activities. A leisurely brunch (and maybe a mimosa or two) at any of Napa’s tasty brunch spots and a spa treatment will definitely be in order to restore your mind and body after the musical festivities.
After a bit of pampering, treat yourself to a few sips of wine at local tasting rooms as you stroll through downtown to check out the many charming and stylish storefronts in Downtown Napa. Shopping in Napa is a true delight, with shops featuring everything from clothes and jewelry to artisan crafts.
These are just a couple of our favorite itineraries, but we have even more ideas to share here. Whether you want to scope out the local arts & entertainment scene or indulge in culinary experiences at some of the 30-plus restaurants downtown, you’re sure to cherish your extra play time in Napa. Remember to book your stay well ahead of the weekend!
