Grab a girlfriend or two and hit the road to Downtown Napa for an incredible girls’ getaway!

Day One:

Plan your trip so you and the girls arrive mid-morning and begin your day with brunch at the Napa General Store. Located in the Historic Napa Mill on Main Street, the Napa General Store is a great place for cute gifts, wine country treasures, wine tasting and of course– brunch! We recommend filling up with the Vintner’s Breakfast, which is a full platter of brioche French toast, farm-fresh eggs, and sausage or bacon. The breakfast scrambles on the menu are also excellent.

What’s a girl’s trip without a spa day? Head to Spa Terra, which is located entirely underground in a 22,000-square foot Estate Wine Cave. This Napa Valley treasure is an experience unto itself. You’ll experience the hushed serenity of the cave, with natural stone and copper water features combined with Florentine architecture and furnishings. The women’s private lounges feature whirlpools, steam grottos and soothing water walls. It’s the perfect place to kick off your relaxing and fun trip!

After a luxurious massage, spend the better part of the day winetasting at our favorite world-class wine tasting rooms! Enjoy the rare and boutique wines from Napa Valley, along with experts who will enlighten you with a little bit of history. Make sure to grab a Wine Tasting Card at the Napa Welcome Center for only $15, which gives you half-price tastings at 12 local tasting rooms.

After wine tasting, get some appetizers and drinks at Napkins Bar & Grill. Enjoy their extensive wine and cocktail selection, along with American favorites such as a savory grilled pork chop, a rich slow-roasted “Wellington,” and a crispy buttermilk fried chicken sandwich.

After dinner, finish your ladies’ night at SILO’s, Napa’s premiere music room located in the heart of Downtown Napa at the Historic Napa Mill.  Enjoy the best live jazz, blues, rock, reggae, smooth jazz and motown music around. The music room also features fine wines carefully selected from the best of Napa Valley wineries along with local micro-brewery draft beer from Napa Smith Brewery, as well delicious cheese plates and chips & salsa.

Day Two:

After a night out with the ladies, start your morning with an amazing breakfast at Alexis Baking Company. Enjoy their delicious Huevos Rancheros, a true local favorite.

Next, head to Downtown Napa and get ready to shop! Browse the wide variety of antiques, apparel, exquisite jewelry, home furnishings and one-of-a-kind arts and crafts. Check out local, hand-crafted products such as oils, soaps, artisan stemware and decanters!

For lunch, we recommend heading to the Molinari Caffe. Their tasting cuisine includes paninis, salads and pastries. After lunch, head to the Oxbow Public Market and taste their boutique assortment of wines from artisanal producers all around the world. Before you leave the market, grab some sweets at Anette’s Chocolate Factory. They have the best rich creams and caramels, roasted Beer Brittles and decadent Chocolate Wine Sauces!

Finish your girls trip by exploring the Napa ARTwalk, which is a rotating exhibition of juried sculpture created by artists from the Western US displayed in Downtown Napa. Snap some pictures with the girls for a trip you’ll always remember!

Whether you and the ladies choose to stay at one of Napa’s charming Bed and Breakfast or nearby hotels, you can be assured your stay will be an enjoyable and fun experience! We look forward to seeing you here!
