When it comes to celebrating Valentine’s Day, Downtown Napa is the perfect place to raise a glass with the ones you love. From roses to rosé and variety to varietals, friends and significant others will find their flow and fall in love with seemingly endless wine tasting rooms, exciting events and welcoming hotels that you’ll never want to leave. Here’s just a taste of how you should DoNapa this Valentine’s Day.

There are dozens of tasting rooms in Downtown Napa, and Housley Napa is one not to miss. For more than 47 years, Housley has called Napa its home and produced many award-winning wines, plus it was named one of the best tasting rooms to have a glass of wine. As if the wine doesn’t have enough star power, you may also recognize owner Tamera Darvette Mowry-Housley from her roles on “Sister, Sister” and her own daytime talk show, “The Real.”

Downtown Napa is, of course, known for excellent wine, but family-owned Napa Valley Distillery is proof that we really do offer something magical for everyone. Napa Valley Distillery is the first distillery in the City of Napa since Prohibition, so when you stop by their tasting bar inside the Oxbow Public Market, you’ll feel like you’re stepping back in time with one of their small-batch spirits. If romance is what you’re looking for, there’s a lot of love in every bottle.

Looking for something unique? Great entertainment always makes a great wine pairing. Performance artist Juliano Wade and violinist Brianna Amr will be performing throughout the evening on Valentine’s Day between 7 and 10 PM at Be Bubbly. Tickets include a welcome glass of Leflaive Brut Rose Champagne.

If you’re looking for the latest in modern Italian, Olive & Hay, inside the Meritage Resort and Spa, brings Napa’s best local ingredients to the forefront with rustic, yet refine cuisine, plus an award-winning wine list creates the perfect setting for a romantic date or a memorable meal with friends.

Steakhouses are a tried-and-true Valentine’s Day staple and Charlie Palmer Steak Napa, inside the Archer Napa Hotel, is one of the most exceptional. Even the steaks are pink or red on the inside! How’s that for a little Valentine’s flair? Get on the books for Valentine’s evening to enjoy a four-course Tasting Menu of seasonal wine country fare, along with an optional wine pairing. Perfect for couples or a meal with your best pals. You can’t go wrong with Charlie Palmer!

Other restaurants with Valentine’s Day specials include Compline with a special three-course menu (including house-made strozzapreti), the CIA at Copia which will be featuring pan-roasted halibut and 72- hour short ribs and Hal Yamashita with a curated Japanese meal.

Shopping is a love language of its own too – you can find offers from Camino with their “Their Date Night Bundle” and even perks for your pooch at Milo & Friends.

If treating yourself is your Valentine’s mantra then the Meritage Resort and Spa, voted Napa’s best day spa, should be at the top of your list. There are multi-service spa specials, plus a couple’s massage package that includes cookies from a local bakery. And, if you get carried away at the spa, stay the night at the luxurious Meritage Resort and indulge in some of Napa’s best dining options.

Archer Napa Hotel has the ultimate Valentine’s Day feature in their Love, Archer package. Not only are they offering 20% off their best available rates, but there’s mimosas, a souvenir card game and more.
