No trip to Napa would be complete without a wine tasting or two, amiright?! It’s probably the main reason people visit the valley, and our trip certainly included a few. Unlike a traditional winery setting tasting, @downtownnapa offers a unique wine tasting experience which includes lots of harder to find boutique wines, and they are all within walking distance. If you are looking for a unique Napa tasting experience make sure you get a @downtownnapa wine tasting card which gets you 1/2 price tastings and additional discounts and specials!! We made sure to make a special stop at @browndowntownnapa and are still talking about how much we loved it! It’s located in the heart of downtown and If you’re ever in Napa I highly recommend a stop there. The vibe is ultra chic and urban, and the wine flights were delicious. Plus the fact that @brownestate is the first and only black owned estate winery in Napa, and that its LGBT operated made it even more of a must visit for us. Fashion and lifestyle blogger Alicia Lund said a stroll on a foggy morning through downtown over the bridge “made us feel as though we had escaped somewhere else entirely. It almost has a European feel from that vantage.”

Award-winning travel writer Anne Lowrey pointed out that staying in Downtown Napa overnight allows you to walk everywhere and takes away the worry about designating a driver. “It’s a relaxing way to roam from one eatery to another, stopping for a stroll by the river or to browse some art in between.”
