Gran Eléctrica is an authentic Mexican restaurant and tequila/mezcal bar located at 1313 Main St. in downtown Napa. Creating a new take on regionally-influenced Mexican cuisine, Gran Electrica aims to showcase a diversity of dishes from across the country. Chef Ignacio Beltran hails from Mexico and has cooked at Ad Hoc, Meadowood and Terra.
Gran Eléctrica’s emphasis on keeping the menu rooted in authentic Mexican cooking and techniques is expressed through items like fresh hand-pressed tortillas crafted with heirloom corn, house-made crema and queso fresco, as well as spicy chorizo made on site.
The beverage program incorporates seasonal ingredients and fresh juice cocktails featuring tequila and mezcal by small-batch and artisan distillers.
With a respectful nod to Mexico, Gran Eléctrica boasts artful touches throughout the space celebrating the vibrancy of Mexican art and painting. The large outdoor patio is perfect for al fresco dining nestled alongside its chef-driven produce garden and Virgin of Guadalupe mural.
