Downtown Napa Newcomer: La Taberna

This is just what Napa needed. Regular diners and locals sometimes bemoan the short list of mid- to low-priced havens one can pop into at any point during the day. With a chalkboard of changing daily tapas in a sleek downtown Napa space, almost everything at just over two-week-old La Taberna is $4-7 — and absolutely delicious. Craft beer, wine — both local and international — a sherry by-the-glass list and low proof cocktails featuring sherry and port seal the deal. We wish they were open just a little bit earlier for lunch but with daily hours running 2-11 PM, this is the ideal hangout for a high quality bite and a drink.
