Ca’ Momi owners plan second Napa eatery

Valentina Guolo-Migotto, Dario De Conti and Stefano Migotto — owners of the popular Ca’ Momi Napa Valley in Napa’s Oxbow Public Market — are planning to open an Italian trattoria next spring on downtown Napa’s First Street.

The new full-service restaurant and bar will be located at 1141 First St., in the space that had been occupied by Naked Wines.

“We are extremely excited about this new chapter in the evolution of the Ca’ Momi restaurant experience,” said partner Guolo-Migotto. “We are passionate about sustaining and sharing Old World Italian traditions through our food and wine, and our new restaurant will allow us to expand our offerings and create an entirely new experience for our customers.”

While details regarding the menu for the new Ca’ Momi restaurant and bar program will be announced in the coming months, the owners are committed to remaining authentically Italian and will continue to incorporate farm fresh ingredients from the Napa Valley into all seasonally inspired dishes.

As the partners work on plans for the new trattoria, they continue to focus on their initial operation at the Oxbow Public Market. Ca’ Momi will repurpose the original concept at the Oxbow to provide the best and most authentic Italian pizzas and pastries in a convenient take-away format, said De Conti. “The enoteca at Oxbow will continue to be one of only a few pizzerias in the U.S. that are certified for authenticity by the Verace Pizza Napoletana (VPN) Association of Italy,” he added. Ca’ Momi will also continue to offer its unique Italian pastries baked daily.
