Ca’ Momi Osteria to debut in downtown Napa this fall

Since the Ca’ Momi team announced its plans for a full service restaurant in downtown Napa last September, we’ve been watching the space at First and Coombs streets, savoring thoughts of when the first bowl of tortellini en brodo would emerge steaming hot from the kitchen.

Drumroll, please – the new Ca’ Momi Osteria is slated to open promptly at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. Why such an exact date? That’s five years to-the-day from when Ca’ Momi served its first pizza in Napa, at its current, smaller location in Oxbow Public Market.

It’s been quite a fine ride for Ca’ Momi owners Dario De Conti, Stefano Migotto and Valentina Guolo-Migotto, who debuted their original place as an intimate Italian enoteca with a wood burning oven and cozy wine bar showcasing the Ca’ Momi Napa Valley wine brand.

They soon expanded to outdoor seating, and then took over a neighboring space in the market, adding salads, soups, and a handful of pastas to the line-up.
