The Village Food & Wine Center is honored to welcome Executive Chef John McConnell of Clif Family Winery for a two-course Napa inspired cooking demonstration.

Taste your way through Clif Family’s locally sourced fare (including fresh ingredients from their own farm!) while learning helpful tips and tricks to recreate elements of each dish in your own kitchen at home. Tastings will be complemented by wines from Clif Family Winery.

Recipe cards are yours to take home. At the end of the class, enjoy a 20-percent shopping discount on Clif Family specialty items to take home.

About Clif Executive Chef John McConnell

John McConnell credits his grandmother with instilling in him an appreciation for food and cooking. When she would visit him growing up in Oklahoma, her passion for family and for cooking wholesome, from-scratch meals was infectious. Years later, while attending Iowa State University for Chemical Engineering, John felt a calling to the culinary arts. He enrolled at the New England Culinary Institute in 2004. After graduating with honors, John accepted an internship at Terra and moved to wine country. Today, John brings his passion for local food sourcing and seasonal ingredients to Clif Family Winery & Farm. He lives in the Napa Valley with his wife, Claire (also a chef), and their three young daughters
