Lost Napa Valley Book Launch

As we continue the quest of Who Tells Our Story, voices heard and unheard, Lauren Coodley provides a deeper look into Napa County History in her newest book, Lost Napa Valley. Join us on Thursday, February 25th via Zoom from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, for a virtual author’s presentation with an interactive Q&A to hear the inspiration behind her book, the discoveries found in her research, and few of the “aha” moments along the way.

Lauren Coodley is the author of three books of Napa history, a textbook of California history and a biography of Upton Sinclair. Beginning her career at Napa’s junior college in the late ’70s, she created and taught “American Women’s History,” “California History,” and “Napa-Vallejo History.” She received the McPherson Distinguished Teaching Award and was the elected president of the faculty.

RSVP today on Eventbrite and join us via Zoom. An e-mail will be sent on the day of the event with a link to access the virtual event.

This presentation highlights the Who Tells Our Story section on Leisure, Livelihoods, and Places in Napa Valley between the years 1830-1930. Virtual tours and presentations by selected authors will augment educational modules published at napahistory.org.

The confirmed Zoom capacity for this event is capped at 100.
