Taking place on The Lawn, the spacious outdoor venue adjacent to Vista Collina Resort, Live on the Lawn brings the Napa Valley community together with live music, a gourmet food truck, a cocktail bar, wine tastings and more in a sprawling environment every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

In addition to enjoying talented local musicians on The Lawn every weekend, attendees can indulge in Meritage’s signature gourmet food truck, under the direction of Executive Chef Vincent Lesage. The food truck’s menu will range from Far East Burritos and Korean Tacos to Sliders, Cubanos and North Shore BBQ. Additionally, the Vintner’s Room will be transformed into a “To Go” cocktail bar with open garage doors on either side, creating an extra open space for guests to socialize.

Attendees can also revel in the diverse amenities the resorts provide, such as on-site dining al fresco dining at Olive & Hay Restaurant and Fivetown Grocery, and wine tastings at our 9 on-site tasting rooms.

Meritage and Vista Collina Resorts are working closely with the Napa County and California State authorities to adhere to strict social distancing and sanitization protocols for Live on The Lawn gatherings.

  • How will the event address crowd numbers and social distancing?
    • The Lawn accommodates more than 1000, but we are limiting capacity to 250.  We are alternating our umbrellas in a “checkerboard” pattern to ensure social distancing.  We will have signage at the food truck, “to go” bar and throughout reminding guests of social distancing, the need to sanitize and the capacities of each space.
  • What sanitary procedures will be in place at Live on the Lawn?
    • We will be adhering to all current California and Napa County sanitary procedures.  And enhanced procedures from our parent company, Pacific Hospitality Group.  These include checking temperatures of all Team Members, abundant sanitizer stations, cloth face coverings for all Team Members (and guests if still required), food handling protocols and more.  Bottom line, whatever is required on that date, we will comply.  But we are confident that by July 3rd, the restrictions will be partially lifted and our Napa residents and overnight guests will want to be out in the sun, socializing (safely) and absorbing some much needed vitamin D.
