Bel Canto is the Napa Valley’s newest vocal chamber ensemble made up of some of the Valley’s finest singers. The brainchild of director, Ted von Pohle, Bel Canto, provides local, musically experienced singers the opportunity to perform innovative, challenging, and primarily, a cappella repertoire in acoustically rich settings. The name, Bel Canto, which means beautiful singing or beautiful song was chosen because it represents a vocal style which is lush and vibrant.
