Savor Springtime in Napa

Bright yellow mustard flowers are blooming around the vineyards, chefs are spotlighting spring ingredients on seasonal menus and the sun is shining well past happy hour. Spring has arrived in the City of Napa, and it’s a season you don’t want to miss!

Here are a few reasons why you should make it to Napa for a springtime visit.

  • April’s Culinary Crawl: On April 19, Napa’s famous Culinary Crawl is back for spring! If you’ve never experienced the Culinary Crawl, it’s a fun and easy way to taste and sip all that Napa has to offer downtown. In April, the crawl will include stops at John Anthony, RiverHouse and State & First.
  • Artist Alley during Arts in April: Arts in April is an annual, valley-wide event that celebrates the arts in the Napa Valley. As part of the festivities, the City of Napa will host Artist Alley on First Street on April 21. With large-scale murals and art installations from regional artists as well as family fun, food and wine, this is a wonderful spring event to support local arts.
  • Mother’s Day specials and packages: If you’re looking for a way to spoil your mom this year (or if you’re a mom planning to pamper yourself!), a number of hotels and B&Bs in Napa are ready to welcome you. Book your spring getaway to coincide with this special day for a weekend you’ll never forget.
  • Great Outdoors: Napa is not only the place to enjoy a glass of wine, but a place to explore nature – and Spring is the perfect time to experience just that! Kayak or paddle on the Napa River, hike through our beautiful hills or cruise along the Napa River on two wheels.
  • The Farmers Market Returns: Held every Tuesday and Saturday, the Napa Farmers Market is back after a winter respite and will be brimming with local produce and goods now through the fall. Come check it out and sample everything from strawberries and basil to local honeys, meats and cheeses. It’s a great spot to gather goodies for a beautiful vineyard picnic. We also suggest picking up a bottle (or two) of your favorite Napa wine at Oxbow Public Market, one of Napa’s biggest hidden gems!

Are you excited for springtime in Napa yet? We hope to see you here soon!
