New Places & Spaces in Napa in 2018

With the New Year in Napa comes new places, spaces and sights! The city is kicking off 2018 with some exciting new spots that you’ll definitely want to explore during your next Napa trip.

Food & Wine

  • The 2018 Napa Wine Tasting Cards are here! For just $15, you can pick up a tasting card and check out ten of Napa’s best downtown tasting rooms (all within walking distance of each other), enjoying wines for half the price. The best part is you can re-use these cards as much as you want throughout the year.
  • Napa’s newest tasting room is getting rave reviews. Compline Wine Tasting Room is a wine bar, restaurant and retail shop located at 1300 First Street. Savor small bites over a bottle of local wine, or reserve a table for a true culinary experience.
  • The highly-anticipated Charlie Palmer Steak House has opened at the Archer Hotel in Napa, so book your table now! An unforgettable menu features classic American fare with local flavor inspired by Napa’s agricultural and viticultural regions, and guests will be pleased to find the steak house open for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and late night lounging.

Arts & Culture

  • The latest installation at the Rail Arts District in Napa has been revealed, bringing the total number of public works of art along the Napa Valley Vine Trail to ten. “Begin and Continue,” a piece created by local Napa artist Mikey Kelly, has brought color and vibrancy to the city’s Corporation Yard Fence, and is one more reason to check out the Rail Arts District next time you’re in Napa.
  • You won’t want to miss the ten sculptures by ten different artists that mark the urban landscape around Downtown Napa, creating the Napa Art Walk. For this rotation of art, the theme is “Shifting Perspectives,” and the pieces currently on display will be in place through 2019.

Hotels & Lodging

  • Napa’s renaissance continues as the much-buzzed about Archer Hotel Napa opens its doors. The urban-meets-wine country vibe creates a chic yet comfortable experience, and guests are sure to be impressed with the hotel’s stellar service, 183 luxe guestrooms and soon-to-be-open rooftop bar – a destination in itself. Rooms at the boutique property are now available for booking, so there’s no reason to delay your plans to visit!

There is so much going on in Napa this year, so whether you’ve visited before or you’re planning to make your first trip (thanks to that New Year’s resolution), your journey is sure to be a memorable one!
