“Inspiration Station” on the Napa Valley Wine Train
Practically a work of art itself, the Napa Valley Wine Train is hosting “Inspiration Station” in celebration of Arts in April. Featuring original paintings and fine art giclées of local artist and prominent winemaker Heidi Barrett, the event will be held throughout April at the Wine Train Depot.

Napa Valley artists Sue Bradford and Nancy Willis understand that integrating artwork into your home can be challenging. With this in mind, they are facilitating an engaging round-table discussion – Which Came First, The Sofa or the Painting? – about living with art. Join them at West End Napa to peruse home furnishings and paintings while enjoying light snacks and wine tasting.
“Cuba – Glimpses” at Back Room Wines: April 4
“Cuba – Glimpses” is a collection of photography, drawings and paintings by Napa artists Elizabeth Bush and Mark Mattioli. This exhibit, inspiring by the artists’ visit to Cuba in 2014, will be available to the public at Back Room Wines. The event will also include Cuban-inspired snacks, local wine and Cuban music.
Artist Reception with Victoria Temple: April 10
Petaluma artist Victoria Temple will host a discussion of color and painting in the early 20th century following a two hour reception at Mason Cellars Oxbow Tasting Room. At the reception, event attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy Temple’s color-inspired works along with cheese and complimentary Mason wines.
The Art of iPhotography at Andaz Napa: April 17
Celebrate the world of smartphone photography at Andaz Napa with legendary photographers Baron Wolman and Knox Bronson. The Art of iPhotography is limited to 50 attendees and will include a presentation, appetizers and wine.
Artist Closing Reception with Heidi Barrett: April 28
In conclusion of “Inspiration Station,” the Napa Valley Wine Train is hosting a special Artist Closing Reception with Heidi Barrett. The evening will feature live music by pianist Andrew Moore, small bites, and a special Heidi Barrett wine tasting and bottle signing.
