Five Performances to Catch This Summer in Napa

Napa is home to some of the greatest event venues in Northern California and this summer, performance calendars are full of not-to-be-missed shows. Between the Napa Valley Opera House, Uptown Theatre Napa and Silo’s, all event venues offer guests an eclectic mix of entertainment, which brings them back time and time again.

Here are five shows happening this summer that are sure to be crowd pleasers:

1. Unauthorized Rolling Stones – Back by popular demand, the Unauthorized Rolling Stones will be playing two shows at Silo’s this June. The Unauthorized have shared stages with or opened for some of the biggest names in Rock, including The Beach Boys, Elton John, Journey, Molly Hatchet, Pete Best, Taylor Dayne, Gary Wright, Al Stewart, Ambrosia, Chaka Khan, and more. Front-man and founder Rudy Colombini is widely regarded as the most visually accurate “Mick” in the business and is also an accomplished original artist, having two of his recordings reach top 40 status in the Adult Contemporary category.
Performing at Silo’s on June 29 at 7 and 9:30 p.m.

2. Zoë Keating – Zoë Keating is a one-woman orchestra. She uses a cello and a foot-controlled laptop to record layer upon layer of cello, creating intricate, haunting and compelling music. Zoë is known for both her use of technology – which she uses to sample her cello onstage – and for her DIY ethic which has resulted in the sale of over 60,000 copies of her self-released albums and a devoted social media following.

John Pizzarelli Quartet with Jessica Molaskey – The popular guitarist/vocalist returns to the Opera House for a swinging night of standards and new tunes.  One of the most personable performers in jazz John Pizzarelli is a great guitarist who swings through the great American songbook like nobody’s business.  This time around, he’ll be joined by his wife; the dynamic vocalist Jessica Molaskey.
