It’s that time of year – Arts in April is back in Napa Valley! Celebrate the rich art and wineries throughout the valley and experience Napa like never before as you explore four week-long curated tours and special events. Celebrate Arts in April this month from the 22-27 amongst galleries, studios, winemakers and more.

“Fine Art in the Valley”

Quent Cordair Fine Art Gallery will be highlighting “Fine Art in the Valley” featuring several world-renown artists including Bryan Larsen, Martin Eichinger, Han Wu Shen and Bill Mack Thomas Arvid. They were recently voted “Best Art Gallery” in the San Francisco Bay area.

Napa Valley Welcome Center: Weekly drawing for the Charles O’ Rear book, Napa Valley: The Land, The Wine, The People (Retail Value $45). On April 24, they will feature an artist or author from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.


April 13, 20, 27 – Live Music at Andaz Napa

Enjoy live music every Wednesday night from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. on the main level.


April 12 – Andaz Salon Event with Baron Wolman

Baron Wolman was the head photographer of Rolling Stone for years. He has captured Bob Dylan, Frank Zappa, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Tina Turner, the Who and many others. There will be 22 pieces of his work around the bar area in Andaz.


April 13, 14 – “Master Highlighting Event”

Visit the Thomas Kinkade of Napa Valley gallery for the opportunity to experience the “Master Highlighting Event”. Customers can purchase a Limited Edition canvas piece and watch their canvas be enhanced by the Thomas Kinkade Highlighter. April 17 – Napa Valley Film Festival Special Screening

The Napa Valley Film Festival is bringing the acclaimed documentary, G-Dog back to the Napa Valley as part of the non-profit’s year round Education and Outreach Programs.  The first feature on April 17 will be from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m. at the Napa District Auditorium, corner of Jefferson and Lincoln.


April 18 – Open Mic Night at Uncorked

Open Mic Night is 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Uncorked at Oxbow, located across from Oxbow Public Market.


April 21 – Napa’s Riverfront Chalk Festival

Come out to Napa’s Riverfront from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. to watch featured chalk artist, Amy Gallaher Hall work on a 9’ X 12’ street painting. New Tech High School students will be designing their own chalk as well.


April 24 – “Speed Craft” Demos at The Grand Hand Gallery

The Grand Hand Gallery will host the first in a series of gallery artist “Speed Craft” demos. Come out and talk with feature artist, Kim Frances and Sandra Juniper Booth. Watch master weaver, Barbara Stafford, spin wool into beautiful yarn and see demos from two Slack Collective artists.


April 25 – Arts in April Culinary Crawl

A food and wine tour featuring Downtown Napa’s best culinary destinations. The crawl begins at Napa General Store with small bites and wine specials at 5:00 p.m. As the crawl continues, the group will walk to Gordon Huether’s gallery on First Street, where they will enjoy the beautiful art while tasting small bites and wine from Tarla . The crawl will conclude at Bounty Hunter Wine Bar & Smokin’ BBQfor amazing food and drink specials. It’s a night out that you don’t want to miss! Tickets are $30 in advance and $45 at the door.  Availability is limited.


April 25 – Jazz Zen Journey Jam Session at Uncorked
Uncorked at Oxbow is hosting artists from Pennsylvania and San Francisco for an evening of wine and Jazz. It begins at 7:00pm withcover at door $10.00 /person.
