Napa does Art After Dark! Iconic architecture becomes the painting in this unique lighted art walk. Original artwork created by local and international artists will be installed at approximately 16 locations in Downtown Napa, the Oxbow District and other places within the City of Napa. Supporting the innovative techniques using light and light technologies as a growing art medium the Napa Lighted Art Festival is a celebration of creative arts, technology and lights. Artwork displayed at this year’s Napa Lighted Art Festival will include light art, video art, 3D video mapping projections, lighted sculptures and projects that use technology or interactivity.

Lantern Parade

Everyone can be a part of Art After Dark!  This fun-filled people parade will start and finish at Veteran’s Park and weave through the various art installations in downtown Napa. All ages are encouraged to participated and create a lantern. A perfect event for the family, be a part of this community art celebration. No fire is allowed, please use battery operated lights. Art After Dark with RAD

See all the latest Rail Arts District (RAD) murals at night! Take a short stroll along the Vine Trail between Vallejo Street & Jackson Street to see RAD’s 7 latest murals that glow in the night sky.

Live music performances will take place throughout the festival, both on the streets and inside downtown Napa’s clubs, tasting rooms and music venues. Check back soon for more information!

Napa Valley’s majestic hot air balloons will be uniquely displayed as part of this year’s Art After Dark experience. Several tethered hot air balloons will light up the sky at Oxbow Commons on both weekends of the festival. You won’t want to miss this stunning light show! Presented by Napa Valley Balloons and Feast it Forward.

Luke Jerram’s multidisciplinary practice involves the creation of sculptures, installations, and live art projects. Living in the UK, but working internationally for 20 years, Jerram has created a number of extraordinary art projects which have excited and inspired people around the globe. The Museum of the Moon was inspired by living in Bristol and noticing the huge tidal variation as he cycled over the Avon Cut each day.

Did you ever wonder what the dark side of the moon looks like? This art installation will provide a rare opportunity for visitors to orbit the moon without leaving the ground.
