Downtown Napa’s 7th annual Blues, Brews and BBQ is back to give you all the great amenities summer has to offer! The event takes place Saturday, August 22 from noon to 6 p.m.; admission is free and open to the public. Head to Downtown Napa to enjoy this day of music, food and fun with family and friends!
The event includes two live stages for blues-performing artists on First and Main streets. Featured artists include the Chris Cain Band, Alvon Johnson, South City Blues Band and the Kyle Jester Band. In addition, three emerging artists from the Bay Area will perform on the KFOG 104.5 FM stage.
For those 21 and over, refresh yourself by enjoying a variety of more than 40 micro-brewed beers. Featured brews include Blue Moon, Lagunitas, Anchor Steam, 21st Amendment and Sam Adams. Blue Moon will highlight select beers in addition to hosting the Backyard Beer Garden, an ideal location to relax and quench your thirst.
Bring your appetite and prepare for the famous rib eatin’ contest hosted by Bounty Hunter Wine Bar & Smokin’ BBQ. Bounty Hunter’s award-winning ribs emit a delectable aroma that simply makes your mouth water! But the BBQ doesn’t stop there; you can also enjoy chicken, shrimp, oysters and corn to satisfy your cravings. The Bounty Hunter’s rib eatin’ contest- every pork lovers’ dream- commences at 3 p.m. and gives competitors the chance to eat their way to a championship title. In addition to providing ribs for the competition, Bounty Hunter will be pouring their select wines.
